One of the 9 rockets misfired and didn’t provide full thrust. I watched the movie Apollo 13 a few nights ago and was reminded that one of the five engines on the Saturn V booster failed on that flight. You can lose an engine and still make it to orbit.
This is the first of a dozen contracted lifts for resupply trips to ISS.
Unlike other resupply ships, this one will bring a load of cargo back to earth.
The frontier is now open.
