Rig count in Bakken and Eagle Ford fields — 493 — 6-30-12

Count of drilling rigs weekend of June 30 – 215 and 278 for combined total of 493.                        

215 – Bakken – from the current active drilling rig list at the N.D. Department of Mineral Resources website on 7-1-12.

278 – Eagle Ford – from EagleFordShale blog

That is up 5 and up 7 since June 23.

I’m not planning on doing weekly updates, but wanted a current count for my next post.
